For the last 20 years, our travel agency Gérard Pons Voyages targets to fulfil wishes and needs of people suffering from Kidney insufficiency.
Dialysis while Cruising program is available for dialysis patients, people with kidney transplant, peritoneal dialysis patients, their family and friends.

The know-how we have allow us today to work in a partnership with Fresenius Medical Care (represented by its touristic subsidiary Holiday Dialysis International) and Costa Cruises, leaders in their own know-how, who have placed their trust for us to orchestrate the booking of the cruises with dialysis sessions.

The integrated dialysis centre is staffed by a qualified nephrologist and nurses who will look after you for the duration of your cruise. The dialysis machines are Fresenius 4008S and have volumetric control and sodium modelling to meet your individual prescription. The consumable, from Fresenius Medical Care, are single use and the machines are disinfected after each session.

To make the most of your cruise your dialysis sessions will be arranged around shore visits and excursions wherever possible. You will receive the program of dialysis before departure for you to choose the group that suits you the most. The nephrologist takes the right to change the program of the dialysis sessions in case of medical needs.

Onboard you can take time relaxing around the pools sunbathing or enjoying the company of your new sailing companions. You may wish to explore the many interesting and exotic ports, or simply sit on your private balcony with a good book.
With a choice of stylish modern ships offering an abundance of activities including restaurants, spa, swimming pools, cinema, theatre and even a casino, you can relax in wonderful surroundings with the knowledge that your dialysis treatments are available onboard.
